Ms. Chao is a valued associate attorney at DLHA Law, working closely to support the litigation, transaction, and employment teams. Ms. Chao graduated from the University of the Pacific before entering Cornell Law School for her juris doctorate degree. During law school, she enjoyed various legal experiences, such as an internship with the Securities Exchange Commission, where she assisted attorneys in the evaluation of initial and annual corporate public filings. She also worked as a teaching assistant in legal and professional ethics, assisting fellow law students with navigating the professional rules of conduct.

After law school, she worked in litigation in both federal and California state courts, before joining DLHA, with pleadings and motion practice experience concentrated in business and tort law. In her spare time, she enjoys digital painting, writing, and cooking with friends and family.
