Deanna L. Maxfield

Associate Attorney

Deanna Maxfield brings a decade of litigation experience to DLHA. After graduating from UCLA School of law, she moved to San Francisco and began working in the busy field of landlord-tenant litigation for two years before finding her passion in employment law. Prior to joining DLHA, Ms. Maxfield represented employees in matters including discrimination, failure to accommodate disability, sexual harassment, wage and hour, and executive contract claims.

This perspective allows her to identify and address potential areas of liability for employers prior to any legal action, as well as understand the most effective means of addressing employee claims when they do arise.

Ms. Maxfield has experience litigating cases in both state and federal courts and in arbitration, from pre-litigation negotiation through post-trial motions. She has also expanded her practice beyond employment law and into general litigation that includes real estate disputes, business contract disputes, and more.
